Go by the Carhartt size chart provided and it is exactly true to size I would say. The sleeves being tight and other problems some have had, thankfully I didn't encounter at all. Also, I haven't noticed the thermal lining being scratchy. The length is fabulous and provides extra warmth and coverage when you bend. I got the Basil green with the blue and wasn't that thrilled with the Basil color, but it is nice and I'm liking it more. I can adjust at these prices from STP! Wish I had discovered this sooner before it sold out and could get another color!

This jacket works great by itself or as a heavy sweater. Don't get me wrong, I say heavy but what I mean is this is of great quality and much warmer then a typical sweater.
