Great for working around the house and playing outside with kids or dog. This is a sweatshirt, pure utilitarian no trendy aspirations. Nice and thick all over and the hood is great - not too shallow and stays on even over my ponytail:)
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dibble from Seattle on Friday, August 1, 2014Carhartt quality. Inside has a mesh lining which is a little weird, but it's warm, snug and doesn't ride IP.
Reviewed by anLE from CA on Monday, July 7, 2014The jacket ran a size large, in my opinion. It's roomy compared to other Mediums and the sleeves were way too long, so I think sizing down would be a perfect fit. I was unable to find any flaws or blemishes with the jacket after careful examination for all that this is of "2nds" quality. It's a thicker jacket for colder weather, and it would appear to be great for chilly weather. The gentleman friend has the men's version and loves it - he's been wearing it in the cooler ND/SD weather and says he hasn't found anything to complain about. The thermal lining is a really nice plus. It gets 4 stars because I'm living vicariously through the gentleman friend, but also because the sizing is a tad off in my opinion. Other reviewers have also noted this brand runs large.
For reference, I'm 5'3", 34-28-40, broad shoulders, usually a Medium, occasionally a Large in outerwear. Sadly I had to return, but am keeping an eye out for a Small to become available!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Central IL from Central Illinois on Thursday, July 3, 2014Just what I needed. A nice, heavy sweatshirt. Other than the sleeves being a bit long(no big deal),this fit me fine. Ordered a small. I'm 5'2" and 115lbs. Great for wearing alone or under a chore coat.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by skinnyminnie from washington state on Wednesday, June 18, 2014A very nice, heavy jacket. Washes well. Seems just a tad snug.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Karen the Shopper from Black Hawk on Tuesday, June 10, 2014I tried this on as soon as I got it, it is so heavy, feels heavier than a winter coat! Very impressed!!
Answer 2XL would probably be the best size for you.
Answer 2nds: Minor cosmetic blemishes or irregulars which do not affect the fit, performance, or longevity of the item. Label is usually clipped by the manufacturer. A small flaw means big savings.|**You can find the meaning of any unfamiliar word in our content by clicking on our glossary link located at the bottom of every page.
