    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I suppose I should have paid closer attention to the fabric weight, but when I saw canvas in the description, I was expecting a heavier shirt. Nothing wrong with this shirt, although it is a bit lightweight for heavy outdoor work with saws, shovels, pulaskis. The shirt is about the same as anyone of a number of other lightweight, tradesman-oriented workshirts that you see around.
