Time will tell

They look nice and feel nice, but I am concerned that they are not as tough and durable as more traditional Carharrts or men's Carhaarts. I have always sworn by the durability of this brand, but I had a very hard time finding any women's Carharrts that were not a percent spandex or designed to be "forgiving" in appearance or "flattering." While fashion is nice, I do not want to sacrifice quality to flatter my figure while working hard. You do not see these things in men's ads, and I am offended and disappointed in Carhaart for this sexist marketing and decline in quality. My last pairs of pure denim Carhaarts lasted 3 years in very tough conditions with no holes. I could extinguish cigarettes on them, no kidding. I am not gardening, I am working grueling 10 hour days. Time will tell is these thinner, blended materials will hold up for a season.
