I bought these for driving, going to the woodpile and general outdoor winter protection. So far they are working fine. I don't expect they'll be warm enough for sub-zero temps, and don't expect to use them that way. They are quite comfortable. They are good looking in that rustic Carhartt style.

Have been using Carhartt products for years and have never been disappointed. Primarily use these as winter work gloves and they seem to handle everything you could ask of them. These were listed as "2nd"'s, but didn't find anything to indicate there was any problem with them.

I bought 2 pairs. These are too hot for summer but perfect for early spring / late fall. They are very tough and last a long time. However they are NOT waterproof. The seams are not taped and the insulation will get wet when exposed to prolong wet-ness. which turns out to be about 2-3 hrs of use in light rain or 30 mins of use in heavy rain.

The warmest pair of work gloves I've ever come across. Durability shouldn't be an issue, the issue is going to be trying to do any detail work with them. Great for holding a hammer, but good luck holding a nail.

Haven't had a chance to use these gloves in cold weather, but they appear to be well made and they are very comfortable.

Living in the great north woods, using firewood is a way of life. We are always looking for sturdy, warm gloves during firewood harvesting season. Thanks to these gloves it should be a little bit more comfortable! Fit/feel great!

Will make a good glove for working outdoors in winter, shoveling snow, and as a truck glove on snowy backcountry roads.
