Carhartt Washed Denim Jeans - Dungarees (For Women)

The only sad news is that Carhartt's sizing is inconsistent. I bought 3 pr Carhartt jeans--all "relaxed fit" and all the same size, but different styles. This pair is truly relaxed, if not loose fit. The denim carpenter jeans were relaxed. The canvas carpenters pants were a regular to slim fit, no where near relaxed. The Good News: To Carhartt's Eternal Credit: 1. The fabric is dense & durable denim, though less dense than the riding jeans I'm used to, and there's **NO LYCRA**--thank you Carhartt! 2. They are conservatively cut jeans for grown-up women who work. They are not flimsy, scratchy, elasticized, trendy fashion statements cut to highlight plumber's butt (a universally unattractive aspect, regardless of age and sex). 3. They're long enough. I repeat: They're long enough. I'm 6ft. Finding clothing that's long enough is almost impossible. Thank you again, Carhartt.

Great product for the price.

I bought one 3 month ago for my frequent trips to construction sites. The size charts online lead me to get something that was a little big. It's cut too loose in the thighs and seat for me. On the plus side, the material is very thick and durable, the dark denim doesn't show stains, and the pockets are actually useful. On the minus side, the denim is too thick to breathe well and they get very uncomfortable in hot and humid environments. I prefer the canvas dungarees instead, but these are functional.

These jeans fit like a glove. No gaps or spaces in the back. The croch doesn't sag down and the the size I chose was perfect for me. Unfortunately, when I looked down, I noticed small blemishs and pulls in the fabric. Because of what I need them for, it didn't bother me and I kept them. However, if I were to purchase another pair, I would make sure they were near perfect. I would certainly recommend these jeans because they fit just right!

they were really long on me

I ordered these twice. The Relaxed and Dungaree fits were a size too large and the Traditional fit was sized properly. The Dungarees were the most comfortable once I ordered a size down.

The denim is the heavy weight, all cotton that I have been looking for. Run large - order a size smaller than usual.

I enjoy well-made, stylish, but rugged clothing for casual wear. These are all of the above. They fit well and I look forward to years of functional good looks from these jeans. I breed rat terriers and I don't like to have to "baby" my clothes, so quality is a must.

I paid attention to the other reviews and bought these jeans shorter than I normally would have, and the length is just right. I got them for yard work--inexpensive and durable--but I like them so much that I keep wearing them as casual wear. I won't wear them in the yard yet, because I don't want to get them stained with mud!

I use these pants for casual dressing and also for work on the dairy. I think they fit well in the rear and thighs but they seem long in the inseam and the waist seems smaller than it should
