Much better fit than "not tall" jacket. Individual it was bought for is 6ft and it fits great! Great for working outdoors in.

I ordered this for my husband. He is 6'3" tall and weighs 300 lbs. It fits perfect. He has a long torso and long arms. Finding jackets to fit him has been a challenge. Carhartt is a great brand. Even though the jacket is listed as 'irregular', he nor I have been able to distinguish a flaw.

An excellent work jacket. My husband works outdoors as a carpenter, so needs warmth, flexibility, and durability. He is tall and skinny, and the XL tall works perfectly. There is enough room for him to wear a sweater on the coldest days, but it is still not so bulky that the jacket gets in his way. The duck cotton is very durable, and although the jacket is thin and not bulky it is surprisingly warm. Having ribbed cuffs keeps his hands clear for work. A great jacket - highly recommended.

Great coat for a variety of conditions. I wear it with layers beneath on cold wet days and it provides good protection. Fashion wise, I should have bought another one or two since my 21 & 23 yr old sons keep using it. Good buy and highly recommended.
