These are thick, heavy pants. They were baggier on me than I expected from the picture, but not annoyingly so. Would buy again.

I have had 1 pair of flannel-lined Carhartts for a number of years and they are my go to pants for cold weather around the house, working outside for short time (vs the insulated for longer time outside), walking dogs on the weekend, etc. My real size is 36x33 and all my dress trousers have to be custom hemmed for that inseam. In Carhartts I find 36x32 to be a little short but ok if wearing boots, while 36x34 is a bit long but works well for cold weather to have that extra coverage. So I look for 36x34 in these pants and for some reason this seems to be a rare size that STP has in stock in flannel so when I saw these ones I jumped and bought 5 more pairs. The flannel makes them super comfy and of course keeps me warmer where I don't have to put on as many layers on top simply because my legs are warmer. Anything more strenuous indoors and you can overheat a bit but shedding upper layers usually takes care of that. Otherwise they are your basic Carhartt pants with the hammer loop on the left and double pocket on the right, triple stitching, very durable, etc.

They say 2nds but I have no idea why and I am beginning to wonder if marking them that way is some way of getting around minimum advertised prices or something because every pair from STP I have bought has seemed perfectly fine to me. They're Carhartt so you know they'll last forever.

They are fairly warm but are very baggy which makes it hard to tuck into muck boots.

I use these for work in the winter. With some longjons I don't need my coveralls until it gets around 10, and they last me a couple years.

These are a good transition from warm to cold weather while working outside. Perfect for the morning/days where it is too warm for the heavy winter work clothes but just regular work pants are not warm enough.

They are a little long for the advertised size however that was expected for being 2nds and most 2nds I get from STP are a bit long.

Very heavy duty. I bought them to hunt in. Thick enough to repel light briars and very warm. These would be excellent for people who work outdoor in the colder weather. Will take a long time to wear them out. Sizing is generous and spot on.
