Pants are awesome though extremely heavy duty and stand up to some suits wear and tear. Haven't noticed what it was that made these pants a second as they seem perfect to me. Certainly not ideal for summer wear as they're a bit heavy

They are rugged and long-lasting. Great colors and more comfortable for work than jeans. We have ordered these work pants many times from STP and we have no complaints. Note: the waist runs a little small so we order up. For example: order a 33 waist if you wear a 32 and don't have a belly. My hubby has "belly" and wears a 36 jean he wears a 38 waist in this style Carhartt pant.

STP is consistently fast, and any time I've needed their customer service for returns or exchanges, they have been completed with efficiency, courtesy and without question. The Carhartt seconds almost always defy you to find the flaw that made them a second, and this order was no different. I wear Carhartts every day for commercial construction work, and they hold up very well, lasting me about a year on average. Couldn't recommend the product or the company more!
