    I am a Forestry Research Techncian for the US Forest Service and my pants take a beating. Carhartts are my first choice. I am glad they now have lower waisted options. My only dis-satisfaction is this pair fits quite a bit larger than the last Size 8 I got and you are out of a 6. I will wear them and hope I don't grow into them! LOL

    I got the pants for all around work in the yard. They do run a little large. I wear a size 8 in a relaxed jean and could use a size 6 in these. I like them anyway , so they are keepers!

    I needed durable pants for working outside as a professional horticulturist. These fit great straight away. If you don't like pants that sit lower on your waste, then these are not for you. Definitely a more modern cut (an inch or more below natural waste on me), which I prefer. I can't stand pants that strangle me around the midsection. I'm 5'9" with an average rise in pants, and the 32" length worked very well...just the right amount of fabric resting on the shoes, which I was a bit nervous about. The color (green) also works well for my line of work. Glad Carhartt was able to make a work pant for women in an appropriate color (Not all women want PINK or YELLOW!).
