I previously ordered these in the moss color, and I sized down as most of the reviews suggested, but they ended up being tighter in the waist/rear than I would like, and a little too long, but not such a bad fit that I had to return them. I am a Forestry Research Techncian for the US Forest Service and my pants take a beating. Carhartts are my first choice. I am glad they now have lower waisted options. My only dis-satisfaction is this pair fits quite a bit larger than the last Size 8 I got and you are out of a 6. I will wear them and hope I don't grow into them! LOL

I got the pants for all around work in the yard. They do run a little large. I wear a size 8 in a relaxed jean and could use a size 6 in these. I like them anyway , so they are keepers!
