I bought these pants in a size 10 for my daughter who is 10 1/2. These pants are huge! I will send these back. I considered keeping these, hoping they would shrink in the wash, because the price is so good and they seem to be very good quality.

I bought these pants for my daughter, both my husband and myself wear Carhatt pants and I knew they would be a quality product. I was not disappointed in the quality. However, it seems that all pants except "skinny" jeans are being made for the large size of kids in the US now. Even with the adjustable waist they are large although the length is correct. I will wash and dry them and hope they shrink a bit, but I will not buy another pair, even at the bargain prices.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
