Carhartt Work-Dry® Thermal Base Layer Top - Lightweight, Long Sleeve (For Women)

This is a nice, lightweight base layer that goes well under almost everything. The neck cuts up a little high in the front and the armpits are cut a little tight as well. The body fits nicely and the sleeves are a touch long, which provides good coverage during reaching, etc. It's comfortable and warm as a base layer and breathes pretty well if not smothered (hard if it's a base layer), otherwise it can get a little hot/damp. I use it for cold days (10-30 degrees) walking my dog along the water. With a long-sleeve over the top and a good jacket, it's pretty comfy. Pros: Excellent for layering, warm. Cons: Tight at neck, pits. Only moderate breathability when layered.

This is just what I wanted- very lightweight wicker to wear under another layer and jacket to run in 20 to 30 degree weather. I also got another midweight Carhartt and they are both great, good sizing, not too tight with a little extra length in the sleeves. Very pleased.

I like it. This shirt says 'second' but I can't find any fault with it. The sleeves are a little long, which I like. The fabric is thinner than I expected.

Looks great on it's own, but great performance base layer. A little shorter in the waist than I expected, but great top
