  • Question “Are these pants HRC2-FR rated?”
Asked on 3/9/2015 6:50:05 AM by Cookinlab from Dallas
    • Answer No, these pants are not FR rated.
Answered on 3/9/2015 6:59:29 AM by Eddie from Alabama
    • Answer Not to my knowledge. This would be a better question for Google. I do know that the pants are very durable with triple stitching at the leg seams. They are not a heavy material as I would imagine a fire-rated pant would be, just a good overall work/casual pant.

  • Question “I wear a 33x30 in the b324 and b151.The b11 does not have a waist of 33", which size should I go to”
Asked on 2/22/2015 10:30:40 AM by JColvin from Charleston,SC
    • Answer Go bigger- I found them tight.
Answered on 2/22/2015 10:32:32 AM by Me from Me
    • Answer I would go 34.
Answered on 2/22/2015 1:11:16 PM by Steelers from VA
    • Answer I would go to the 34x30 because it is better to be a little loose for comfortable feel than to tight.when you wash and dry on cotton or high heat and they will shrink alittle.
Answered on 2/22/2015 5:46:34 PM by upyours from san diego
    • Answer Good question. I will say that I ordered these Carhartts in a 34 length as that is what I normally wear. I had to return them for a 32 length. In short, they ran long in the length. The waist seems pretty dead on though. That said, I would order a 34 waist if I were you. That way they will fit even if you have to wear a belt with them. A 32 could work but could also be pretty uncomfortable for you.
That's my two cents. They are great pants. I am actually wearing mine as I write this. I look forward to owning more Carhartts!

    • Answer Personally, I would bump up a size. I do not fully trust irregular or 2nds labeling. Just my opinion.

    • Answer The tag says Original Dungaree Fit. My husband wears 34 waist and they fit. The cut is roomy and comfortable to work on hot days.

    • Answer I would consider them relaxed. I have about 15 pair. They are awesome pants
Answered on 10/4/2014 5:13:14 PM by Ole Texas Red from Texas
    • Answer I have 3 pair of these and they all say "original dungaree fit" on the tag.
Answered on 10/4/2014 7:11:45 PM by Wyldfyrr from Virginia
    • Answer The tag on mine say Original Fit, if your concern is that they are tight fitting these pants are not tight. I have put them through a few wash cycles and they still have good room for movement while working even in hot weather and sweating. I bought 2 pair and they are consistent with each other as far as fit.
Answered on 10/5/2014 8:28:10 AM by Iamironman from Mass
    • Answer Original fit.
      That's it.
Answered on 10/5/2014 6:20:31 PM by Kamm from LV. NV
    • Answer no they do not say... it says dungaree fit.. and then the lot numbers. I always buy the boot cut and they seem to be just fine form my husband. He does have a large waist and they do not cut him in the gut. hope this helps

  • Question “Are these pants original cut or relaxed cut ? ”
Asked on 10/4/2014 11:13:42 AM by craig from NY
    • Answer I'm not sure what those different cuts are. But I will say that they are a bit more relaxed than some other pants I have. They are not baggy by any means, but also not hipster tight. I would say they are just right, if not a tiny bit baggy.
Answered on 10/4/2014 11:18:35 AM by Sparky Rob from Seattle
    • Answer They look like a loose fit when my hubby wears them. They are also a lighter weight than the regular work pants. Hope that helps.
Answered on 10/4/2014 3:30:01 PM by Dee Da Lee from Chicago
    • Answer I would say regular/original cut. Very easy to work in, for myself .
Answered on 10/4/2014 4:40:31 PM by Kamm from LV NV
    • Answer they are regular cut but they have ample room in the rear and waist... My husband has been wearing for years and has not complained any...

  • Question “How wide are the pant legs at the bottom?”
Asked on 6/3/2014 11:12:20 PM by Tim from CA
    • Answer They are 9 and 1/2 inches wide folded flat.
Answered on 6/4/2014 5:21:13 AM by Anonymous from atlanta
    • Answer I would have to say boot cut, my husband has no problem getting them over his boots. There is no way he would wear straight cut his legs muscles are to big from all his walking and physical work. he really like the cut and fit well, as for washing the hold up well but do wrinkle so getting them out of the dryer quickly will help reduce that.

    • Answer I do not know the exact measurements, but the leg bottoms are very roomy, they will fit over boots
Answered on 6/4/2014 6:10:37 AM by Bruce from New Jersey
    • Answer They are cut for work boots
Answered on 6/4/2014 6:18:10 AM by Iwas830 from California
    • Answer 9 inches from seam to seam.. = 18 inch circle.. They fit over my hiking boots.

    • Answer Husband wears them with lace work boots & the pants still stack
Answered on 6/4/2014 9:24:29 AM by amy from ca
    • Answer They are similar to a "boot cut" pant leg
Answered on 6/4/2014 10:39:21 PM by DeeDoo22 from Rocklin, CA
    • Answer The pants are not tapered like a boot cut at bottom, if that helps. My boyfriend works in an office for a utility company and absolutely swears by these pants! He wears them to work and then can come home and work outside without changing. Super comfortable! Great price!
Answered on 6/5/2014 4:49:38 AM by Butter from North Carolina
    • Answer Approximately about 6-7 inches seam to seam at the bottom of the pant leg
Answered on 6/5/2014 3:32:31 PM by Josh H. from Englewood, CO
    • Answer I would call these 'wide-leg' or 'boot-cut' at the ankle- certainly not a tight fit. But, a comfortable fit without looking like baggy pants.
Answered on 6/5/2014 5:34:03 PM by Farmer Brent from Georgia
    • Answer They are about 10 inches wide at the bottom
Answered on 6/5/2014 6:29:52 PM by Jake from washington
    • Answer They fit well over my work boots and hiking boots,
Answered on 6/5/2014 6:41:44 PM by BMK Asolo from Tennesssee
    • Answer They are straight-leg, but not a 'peg-leg.' (As in they don't get noticeably narrower at the bottom. Basically, they're consistently wide from about the thigh-down, and not bell-bottoms. You can probably pull them on over moccasins or something like that, maybe even some tennis shoes, but not a larger shoe or boot.
Answered on 6/5/2014 7:01:52 PM by Michigan Mark from Grand Rapids, MI
    • Answer Without actually getting my tape out, I would say a good 6 to 8 inches when flat. Wide enough for my boots which are the 6 inchers.
Answered on 6/6/2014 1:14:51 PM by Sparky Rob from seattle
    • Answer I wear a 36x30 size and the bottom circumference measures 18", which sounds like a lot but isn't. I wear work boots with mine and they don't flare out like bell-bottoms or even boot cut pants do, they look similar to a relaxed fit jean at the boot collar. Hope this helps....I think you'll like the fit, they're some of the most comfortable pants I own.
