Carhartt Work Jeans - Washed Canvas (For Men)

great work pants.

Not heavy and hot yet durable. Pretty strong.

I wore the classic heavy version of this pant for all the years I was in the trades. Now that I am the maintenance supervisor at a resort hotel I don't need work wear as heavy duty so these are perfect.

Have had several pairs of these over the years and really like them for both home chores and summer travel. Main things are the combination of a durable tight weave that won't rip in the woods, and the thin, light weight, square weave canvas that is, for me, the coolest kind of fabric in really hot weather. Also like the wider side tool pocket for a cell phone or map. These are 2nds, and sometimes the flaw is visible, but always repaired well (no problem for jeans). Length is longer than usual. Can buy your nominal size instead of extra lenght in anticipation of shrinking in wash. (I used to do that, as usual for jeans, but always needed to have them hemmed. So - nominal size for these.)

I wear these out in the brush. They are tough enough to handle the abrasive shrubs and their lighter weight is great for hot days.

These are nice all-around canvas pants. The fabric is not too heavy and the price was reasonable.
