I have been a fan of Carhartt's for years. They are my uniform of choice for landscaping, painting, car repair, farm chores and carpentry. I told my boyfriend about them last year and he was skeptical, often choosing a more affordable pair of dungarees. I convinced him to try them and he bought three pair out of the gait. The price on Sierra Trading Post has remained the lowest I have found online or in retail stores. He is a farmer in Maine and has not stopped wearing them since he received them. They fit well and while they are very stiff at first, they last longer than other work pants we have tried. They even keep the black flies and mosquitoes at bay. We prefer the Double knees due to the amount of kneeling the job requires.
