These boots are a great value and the best pair of work boots I've personally ever owned: warm, comfortable all day, have great features like steel toe, good tread, and some kind of system called 'dryz'. (or something like that) I think dryz works as far as I know. I would buy these boots again however I think I ordered one size too wide and are rubbing my toes. I didn't notice until I'd worn them outside for a while. However even though they are rubbing on my big toes they are very comfortable and I will buy Carolina boots again. I put on two socks and it took care of the issue. I've taken a 2 mile walk in them and they are comfortable for work boots but not like tennis shoes or hiking boots. I'm also at least two inches taller in these boots.
There are better boots out there but for the money these are great and the best for the money I've seen. I'd given them 5 stars but they lack some high end boot features such as Kevlar layers, and Kevlar thread for the ultimate in boot safety for what I use them for. I use these boots for chainsaw work and could not afford the high end boots with Kevlar that cost $350+. To get 5 stars from me they must have Kevlar.
I use saddle soap and kiwi wax to shine them up and they look almost new again.
