“Sturdy Boot but Allow Time For Break-In”

“Nice, well-made boot. Leather is very thick and durable but this means that the boots are heavy and it takes some time for them to break in. I brought my old boots to work and was glad to be able to change half way through the day for the first week. Now that they've broken in, however, I like them very much. The thick soles add more weight, but they are resilient which makes these boots an excellent choice for working on a concrete shop floor. I would recommend applying a coat of mink oil to them right out of the box to help soften the leather and speed the break-in process.”
