When I first tried this on I wasn't sure I was going to keep it because it was a little odd to figure out how to wear it. But then I realized how soft and warm it was and couldn't take it off for three days! (which is okay b/c it's merino--never stinks)

The open-front look is good on the model, but looks a little frumpy on me, and not as warm. The ties are too bulky to tie in a front knot but too short to wrap around and tie in the back. But if you kind of wrap one side around your body and throw the other side up over your shoulder, forming a sort of cowl neck, it is super comfy, warm, and very stylish looking! I was afraid it would slip down all the time but it actually holds in this position fairly well, although I plan to sew a loop and button near the neck to make it more secure.

Even though it's made in China, it is 100% merino wool and it seems to be of good quality. Incredibly soft. The purple color is beautiful!

The fabric was nice quality and texture but the overall fit was more like a pancho than the drapey, formfitting sweater it appears to be in the picture. I'm 5'8" 36-32-40 and I felt like I completely dissappeared inside the medium, even though the arms fit fine--a differnt body type might fit it better. If I liked wearing belts with sweaters it might have worked, but with no built-in definition to the waist, it's best worn for movie night at home with the cat.

Love these sweaters that are drape in the front. This is pretty and very basic. Odd collar, though, lots of fabric drawn up in gathers at the back of the neck, but it's not that noticeable.

I didn't care for the fit of this sweater. There is too much material in the front and it seems short in the back. Sent it back.
