Cascade 2-Ply Wader - Cleated, Bootfoot (For Men)

I got these waders due to the great value from sierra trading post. They were purchased for freshwater fishing and occasional duck hunting. A few days after I received them I had a chance to use them. I was impressed. I was in water well above my waist for about 20 minutes. Water was lower 40's. They didn't get to cold, and didn't leak a drop. Only problem I encountered were the legs were a little short for sitting, but I am 6'1, so its understandable. Would give 5 stars, but the 5th depends on durability, and I haven't had them long enough to determine that.

I used the waders for the first time today in the mighty Laramie River, Laramie, WY. The water was cold, but the waders insulated fairly well. I wasn't very uncomfortable at all. I had to walk some on ice and the tread didn't do too well on the ice. Since winter is coming to a close anyway, I'm not concerned about that. However, they are described as "cleated" in their title. They are not cleated, per se. They have good tread, but when I think of cleats I think of football or golf cleats. You know...spikes! But, all in all, I would say they are pretty good for the price.
