Cashmere Dog Sweater

These sweaters are absolutely gorgeous. Soft, supple, thin, comfortable, luxurious. But too long for my frenchies. I have a 19lb female and a 28lb male so bought M for female and L for the male. They both look like they're wearing dresses. I love them so much I'm going to try to shrink them down. It's hard to find sweaters that fit girth of body, but aren't too long for the torso. Poor frenchies:( They also stretch a bit so it's better to go close to the size your pooch is. The first time the little ones wore them by the time we came home from our walk, the already long sweaters were like robes..:) Also spot wash well as they were so long they got 'stained' when the little ones did their business...:)Still recommend them though! Go smaller if you have a shorter bodied dog.

I tried it on my 24 lbs. boston and it was slightly tight, however the sweater was purchased for a puppy who should fit it great.

probably better for places with milder winters

Our Boston Terrier, Greta, who is always shivering no longer shivers when she wears the sweater! She seems to want the sweater on when she sees it.

I looked at the reviews and it was nice to know the sweater fit slightly smaller so it allowed me to purchase correctly. I live in MT so this will be a nice "in between" season sweater for my dog who doesn't take the cold very well.

Whenever my dog feels cold, I put this on her. And she feels happy and and she walks around inside and outside house without any struggling. I can tell she loves this sweater because she licks me so much when I put it on.

Good quality, looks good, hand washes well although label says dry clean only.

I love this sweater and so does my Italian greyhound mix. In fact I loved it so much I bought a second one in a different color. It goes on and off easily and doesn't restrict any movements. The only small problem is my dog can get out of it when he burrows under the blankets, but not a big problem. It is the softest sweater I've ever felt - really wish I could wear it! It washes easily in cool water and line drys. No balling.

This is the second cashmere sweater purchased from Sierra Trading. First one for Christmas in a red color. Little Albert loved it so much we just had to have another in blue. Great for cooler weather in Northern CA

soft and non-restricting. Best for walks in very cold weather-not where sweater could get wet or bog down. She's a 14 pound dog & the medium was perfect, so they might run a bit small?
