Casio Pathfinder Solar Triple Sensor Sports Watch

I purchased the Pathfinder to use for cross cntry skiing, hiking, and canoeing; the only times I wear a watch. All its features seem more than reasonably accurate for these recreational activities and its durability and ease of use in each mode,including calibrations, are impressive. Although somewhat bulky and heavy, not surprising for what it is/does.

probably use the altimeter most, next to time, and it seems to work as well as my suunto

I do wear this as my primary watch, I wish there was a smaller "Womans" size available. The springs connecting the band to the watch both broke and had to be replaced. I was dissapointed to find that the body of the watch was plastic, not metal. I purchased the titanium band only to find after some hard wear that the "silver" color of the watch body was only painted plastic. I love the solar charging, in the winter it stays up in my sleeve, and when the battery gets low letting it sit in the sun for an afternoon will charge it back for several months! The compass and altimiter are accurate enough for basic hiking and route finding. I bought one for my Boyfriend and he loves it too!
