    from the description, thought it was a lightweight, nylon hammock. instead, it's a heavy woven hammock made out of cotton, with fraying cotton cording.

    This hammock wasn't what I thought it was but it will work alright. It doesn't pack down as small as I would like and the canvas would probably take a while to dry if it got wet, so I would be careful if you planned on camping with it. It comes with bolts and hooks for permanent setup at a house. But if you were planning on sitting in the woods somewhere don't expect anything to strap it to a tree. I would buy the eno slap straps and a carabiner or two for day hikes for the casual hiker. Serious backpackers should go ahead and get an eno. Depending on your usage I would recommend this to a friend still.
