“Castelli Carico - Hungary or Mexico?”

“Interesting. I ordered three of this item. They are pretty nice, but I found it interesting that two of them were manufactured in Hungary, and one was manufactured in Mexico. All have the same item number, and are made of the same materials, but the Mexico produced product was not manufactured the same way. The collar is cut differently (less comfortable), the waist band and sleeve elastic is different (bunched and clinging), and the zipper isn't quite as well sewn in as in the product manufactured in Hungary. Still a serviceable shirt, but I won't buy another Castelli product unless I can see it before I buy it. Seems like an interesting marketing ploy to have two items with markedly different quality sold under the same item number.”
