    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I'll keep this short: most comfortable shorts I've ever worn but the lack of durability makes them worthless. After a handful of uses the stitching is rapidly coming apart in three places--the chammy, between panels, suspenders! I take good care of my gear, handwashing and hang-drying all of it, so this lack of quality is inexcusable. I won't be buying Castelli again, even at STP's great prices.

    For me, bibs are all about the padding. I like a dense pad so I don't just sink through the pad to the saddle. These bibs have a nice dense pad that supports my sit bones. the legs are more snug and shorter than other brands. I wear these bibs on HOT days.

    Great bibs for first month until chamois separates from shorts. I went through five pairs between what I bought and exchanged. All did the same thing regardless how I washed them. Too bad because these were the most comfortable bibs I've worn.

    This is only my second bib but I understand why it costs a lot more than my first it has a lot of padding and is great for long rides. I would agree to order up on size. I'm glad I took that advice.

    This is my first bib and I dont think I will buy shorts again. Castelli runs small so order one size up. I am a stocky sprinter 5' 10" 195lbs and usually wear Large. The XL works out great in this case. Not for cold weather.

    Quality construction, comfortable. I am 6.1 and 180 lbs. with a 34 waist. I had to get the XL in this bib as they are one size too small. The leg is about 2 inches shorter than my other bibs, however, it does not bother me. I just finished a 55 mile ride whilst wearing these bibs. The fit and padding were very comfortable. I bought three of these and may buy two more.
