As I expected, these Castelli tights are made very well and represent a great value from STP. In terms of sizing, I would say Castelli runs 1 size small. I usually where a large in other brands of tights (Sugoi) and I ordered an XL in Castelli and they fit just right. This tight does include a nice quality pad as well.

Glad I ordered one size up and went for the 2XL instead of my usual XL sizing based on other ST user reviews. These Italian-designed tights run very narrow compared to usual American sizing. Strongly suggest ordering one size-up unless you're very slim. Good chamois padding and overall fabric compression. Fit was perfect for my 5'8" stocky frame, simple elegant design, not flashy. I was concerned about 2XL being too long in the leg but no problem. I am only sorry I didn't get a 2nd pair of these 2XLCastelli bib-tights with Sierra discount when they were available. Good quality, excellent value.

I'm 5'8" 180 lbs with a 43" chest. The medium was just a bit tight across the chest. My first bib tights and I like them. No more slowly working their way down with out of the saddle peddling. I wore them on a 45f ride and I was comfortable.

i have ridden in these once: I only got them a week ago. I like them, they are warm and comfortable. I rode at 35 degrees with wind blocking underwear underneath. But: I am five nine, with a 32 inch waist and a 31 -32 inch inseam and I needed a 2XL to fit me. I understand that Italians are thinner than Americans, but this is silly. I think Sierra needs to update its sizing charts; I knew enough about Castelli to order an XL to begin with; fortunately Sierra did an instant exchange and made it work.
