    I bought these shorts for the 90+ degree summer days, specifically the white color. I like how the material is lighter in weight, but I agree with an earlier review. If you're self-conscience, than these shorts might not be for you. They show a lot and the material is not as opaque as something heavier (it doesn't show anything with the chamois). The padding is good. My one concern is that the white comes in contact with the saddle. I think after several hard rides, you get staining there. Overall, I really like these shorts.

    I usually love Castelli shorts and bought these on sale but the white is way too see through - like scary so I returned them. Maybe that is why they put them on clearance. I would buy black next time.
