    I bought these because I was interested in trying Castelli's pad, and I do like it better than my Pearl Izumis and Descentes. The elastic waist wasn't well sewn and was coming undone at the side seam, but the rest of the shorts looked fine so I decided to do the minor repair myself. I've liked them riding so far. I agree with a prior review that the white fabric doesn't leave skin dimples to the imagination! I mostly wear these under tights since it's cold this time of year, so the color was unimportant to me. The fit is very comfortable--soft fabric, good waist placement, comfortable elastic leg bands. Overall: great for riding, not great for being seen in around town!

    They are white and a bit sheer, so either a long shirt and underwear will be necessary if you're shy. The padding is anatomically correct and feels good. The leg grips are a nice touch.

    I was hesitant about ordering white so I decided to go up a size so that the fabric wouldn't stretch as thinly. I am pleasantly surprised how much I like them and how cool they are in the Southern heat. I have several pairs of shorts and I think this pad is my favorite. Not overly bulky but cushions where needed. I really like the dip in the waistband.

    I really like these shorts. The fabric and padding are top notch. White is great for the summer and they are super cute. I wore a longer shirt over them but you could wear light underwear under them because they are a little see through.
