    I use them mainly for hiking when backpacking or camping. For this end they are pretty good, definitely warm and waterproof. As for weight, they are a little heavy and can weigh down my pack when I switch to light hiking shoes. Still a good set of waterproof boots for the price.

    Husband wanted work boots that are just over the ankle. These are great tough boots and will last a long time, even for a guy who's tough on clothes. I was worried the design would be too trendy, but it's really not. They look more moderate than the photos seem.
