The leather is high-quality, thick and durable. The styling is terrific and to fit is very comfortable. The only things I would watch out for is the sizing; these boots run half size big. I usually wear a size 9 and ordered a 9.5, thinking room would be beneficial for thick fall and winter socks. However, I had to return those and ordered an 8.5 and 9 just to be safe because I really liked these boots and wanted them to work. The 8.5 turned out to be perfect. The calves are also wide but I just wear them with skinny jeans and receive many compliments. I am 5'9" and 130lbs though. I've had these for a couple months an I NEVER regret this purchase.
