“My husband (who has had a great deal of experience with telescopes/astronomy)thinks this is a good scope for him to use anytime with our kids. His telescope is much larger, and a real pain to transport or move around, therefore we do not get it out often. It is low enough to the ground that they can look through the eyepiece without having to stand on a step stool. We mostly look at the moon with it. It is however an older model -- there is newer technology for the computer interface available. Over all a good telescope for the money.”
