“Chaco both started and quit making these recently, which is a real shame since they are the most comfortable light hikers I've ever worn. Needed to replace my old classic Merrell Appalachians, but until now couldn't find anything that felt as nice. The Canyonlands may be up to some back country, I haven't tried yet, but they do not feel as solid as some of the really hard-core boots. They have that *great* Chaco arch support and feel just as good after a long hike as they did starting out. If they're in your size, be sure to grab them while they last!!!”
