These are as comfortable a snow boot as I have had- some 25 years of long winter experience. The footbed holds my foot firmly, but the loose feeling makes for a very comfortable fit. Love these, and have been wearing almost daily for two weeks in temps between 5 and 25 degrees. The size 11 is just...

The boot could allow more roon for the arch rise on the instep. I have a good arch and the footbed pushes me up to the boot and makes it snugger than I like. Hopefully the leather will stretch. Didn't realise they are watetproof - nice surprise. I like the Vibran sole.

My husband likes these boots. They look funky fashionable and withstood the first snow of the season. However, they are difficult to put on and take off! Seems to be getting easier, but we have had a good laugh that indeed the earlier reviews were true. Still, the boot wins on all the other accounts, for a good looking snow boot to commute with jeans or khakis.

Ordered these a few months back thinking they'd be great for walking the dog in the snow. I will add to the reviewers before saying that these run large. I usually wear a 10 or 10.5, and the boots that fit were a 9.5. There is a very thick insole with a high arch (that Chaco is known for) inside the boot but it can be removed and replaced with Superfeet, an orthotic, or other replacement insole if the Chaco arch is not for you. Positives: Great looking boot that is warm and provides great traction in the snow and crud. Negatives: It could just be my instep (or the fact that I'm not the most flexible person in the world), but I find taking these on and off to be a bit more of a chore than I'd prefer. The top opening is not as wide as some other styles of pull-on boots.
