I love the way they help keep my whole body in line. My hips don't hurt anymore, my knee pain is minimal now. The only negative is that I have to wear a pair of socks with these to keep them on my feet because of the strap is not ajustable.

I bought these to wear at work. I love the color and overall quality of the shoes. The only problem was that the size 7.5 was too big and the size 7 was sold out. I would definitely buy these in 7's if they come back in.

I purchased this shoe in an 8.5 in the brown color. The toe box is wide and the sole is good. The heel straps are too long and not adjustable. I will be having an elastic strap sewn onto the fabric upper (like a mary jane) to salvage these shoes and make them wearable. As they are sold they are not wearable but not worth returning at the clearance price. I would be very happy with tim if they would stay on my feet!

I wanted to love these as much as I love my Chaco sandals and hiking boots, but they just weren't comfortable. The footbed is Chaco-wonderful, but the upper is stiff and made my feet sweat. The strap at the heel doesn't help the shoe stay on. Have to return these.
If you look at the ENLARGED view of the shoe you will see exactly how much the heel is raised. This shoe has a very pronounced arch support. It is extremely comfortable. Good luck !

They are not flat, that is a fact. The arch is raised and so is the heel. However, the arch is much higher than the heel. It is a very unusual design and feel. I, too need a raised heel and as much support as I can get for a leg problem. It is a shoe I can wear all day. It's bed reminds me a bit of a Birkenstock, but it is much more comfortable to wear, in my opinion. My sister has plantar fascitis and it was she who recommended this brand to me.

I had the closed end version of these and there is a slight rise in the back. Probably about 1/4 inch more than the front. Exactly the same footbed as the sandal.
