    While I like the overall look and feel of this shoe... Unfortunately, while trying them on and pulling the laces tight, one of the eyelet loops pulled free from the shoe rendering them useless. Not sure if this would happen to any others [maybe just a one time thing] but, instead of just getting a replacement I returned them and did not want to take the chance.

    This is my second pair of Chaco shoes. The arch felt odd and uncomfortable when I tried on the first pair but now I love them and hardly wear anything else. I will definitely continue to purchase and wear Chaco shoes.

    I was hoping that I could run on snow and ice with th ese shoes, but they are definitely not for winter running. Still trying to decide whether to return th em They are comfortable and good for wet conditions. But I am looking for something that would have better traction on frozen roads and trails.
