This is a great sandal, I've had a pair and this is for my son. This one does not run large so if you can't decide between ordering a half size up go with the larger size. It is lightweight and very comfortable - one of Chaco's most comfortable sandals, IMHO.

I am a woman with large feet (11M) and high arches. Several reviewers mentioned that these sandals were narrow on a man's foot so thought I would give them a try. They fit almost perfectly (9M, men's size) so these would likely be too narrow for a man's M width foot. They are very comfortable and have a lot of support. The only potential problems are that the straps are a bit loose and they are heavier than expected.

I've never been able to tolerate flip-flops in the past due to discomfort between the great and 2nd toes, but these are quite comfortable.

The sandals' rubber is fairly hard, so 1) it makes noise when walking on hard surfaces, and 2) there's not much friction between insole and footbed. The curves/arch seems to support the feet well though. For me, I'll use it just for short walk.
