Seven years ago when I bought my first pair of Chaco Flips, I was very skeptical about $55 flip flops. After 7 years of HARD use I can say they live up to the hype. As far as comfort goes these are excellent. Many folks (including outdoor gear lab) favor OluKai for pure comfort and I wouldn't argue ...

Buying this pair of chacos for my "bad" feet is a "good" idea. I struggle with plantar fasciitus, and these flip flops support my feet just right! They are more expensive than Old Navy flips or even your $20 pair from Kohls or Fred Meyer, but they are worth the investment. Seriously!

Tried many brands and styles (Reef, Teva, Sanuk, Island Slipper and Rainbow,) and Chaco"s Eco Treads are the most comfortable and durable, period. My Island Pro Aka's blew out after 2 months when they use to last 2 years. I think they are using cheaper rubber in their soles so, I decided to try Chacos and I have never looked back. I hike and even do stone work in my Chaco's.

I ordered these in the same size as my Z2 chacos, only to find that they run around 1.5 sizes small. I wear an 11, and these 11s put the heel of my foot about 1/2 inch off the back of the sandal. I also wear an 11 in Simms and Reef flip flops, so these tend to run small.
