“Early returns not good, but optimistic”

“I did read elsewhere that the straps can cause serious chafing and (at least in my case) it was unfortunately true. Straps caused SERIOUS pain and eventually tore off skin towards the outside of both feet and to a lesser degree at the top of the foot. My expectation is that after an initial break-in period, the straps will be stretched such that the chafing will end. For its part, the footbed feels great and despite the chafing, I like the secure fit of the straps. Hopefully the initial pain will yield long-term returns. In the end, I recommend, but fair warning about the straps.”
