Chaco Flip Sandals (For Men)

Chacos are absolutely the best flip flops I have ever owned. They are washable, supportive, and keep my hips from hurting while I walk on tile. I use them for everything from kayaking (I am a naturalist and kayak tour guide) to showering at a festival (so I don't stand in others' shmeg). Chacos rock!

Really love these shoes:I have bought many pairs, giving them as gifts and using them year round. They used to be made in Colorado, but are now being made in China. I am not happy about this, as I feel the quality has gone down and another American company leaves our shores. Anyways, these sandals hold up really well, especially in the bush, although the flip tread is a little thin for heavy bush use.

If you are looking for flops that actually support your arch, fit true and feel great then look no further. As comfortable as there boots these sandals stand by the name.

I will be returning these sandles for a size larger. I usually wear a 9, but can barely even fit my foot into the straps so I want a larger size.

I did read elsewhere that the straps can cause serious chafing and (at least in my case) it was unfortunately true. Straps caused SERIOUS pain and eventually tore off skin towards the outside of both feet and to a lesser degree at the top of the foot. My expectation is that after an initial break-in period, the straps will be stretched such that the chafing will end. For its part, the footbed feels great and despite the chafing, I like the secure fit of the straps. Hopefully the initial pain will yield long-term returns. In the end, I recommend, but fair warning about the straps.

I have wide,flatt feet and these have good arch suport. They were also comfortable the first time I put them on!

The only thing about them some may not like is the support...it may actually cause blisters until your feet get used to them. But then you'll never want to go back to plain flips again. Really great support.

I've purchased two pairs of these sandals from Sierra Trading Post. They are the best flip flops I've ever owned. They are slightly on the small size. I purchased size 10 and normally wear a 9.5-10.0 shoe. They are fine for me, but you may want to order one size larger. The arch support is great. Nearly all other flip flops are completely flat, but these have nice arch support and don't look strange on your feet. In the future, I will probably only purchase flip flops from Chaco.

The straps are stiff when new but if you haven't worn Chacos before, don't give up on them before they're broken in!
