My podiatrist recommended Chacos for me since I was flat footed..They are very stylish and go with everything..They do need to be broken in though as they chafed a tad on the outside when brand new ...

I am a huge Chaco fan! I got my first pair in 2006 and have been wearing them (the pair I got in 2006!) ever since. I finally managed to break the strap so I decided to get myself another pair. This particular model fit well in the footbed, but the straps were far too large and did not hold my foot snuggly into the footbed. It's disappointing that I had such a great pair from 2006 but can't seem to find a pair like them in their newer models...

Attractive, might even be considered the nicest looking of my flip flops, which I buy strictly for comfort. the footbed is nicely sculptured with an arch support, the length feels slightly short, to the point that I checked if I had order the correct size. Most importantly, the Y-straps feel like they are too short so that the supposedly soft sueded toe-divider is pulled so tight that it hurts. Maybe everything will stretch out. The sole is great, foot bed seems like it won't chafe after a long walk, but I don't know because of the between toe pinch effect makes me kick them off.
Best Uses: Beach
Cons: Too Stiff
Describe Yourself: Conservative, Love Comfortable Shoes, Stylish

I love Chacos and have sandals and shoes all in the same size, but these just feel tight, small and uncomfortable. The straps enter the sole of the shoe under my feet which creates a point of pressure and the footbed doesn't feel as comfortable as my sandals. It costs to much to return so I will keep them and hope they wear in a little.
