It is definately comfortable and seems that it will hold up for a long time to come. Note this flip flop is not flimsy if that is what you seek look elsewhere

Reviewed by longtime customer from illinois on Wednesday, January 23, 2013these are downright painfull to wear. seams on center strap are exposed and hurt my skin even with socks on. i have other chaco sandles that are a pleasure to wear but these are terrible. poor quality construction also. sierra trading post should not expose their customers to this poor of a product
