Chaco Frieda Leather Sandals (For Women)

These sandals are comfortable and sturdy. They run a little wide but not enough to size down. Good for every day casual wear. The red is not quite as dark as they look in the picture.

I have never had a pair of Birkenstock-like shoes before (with the recessed heel), so it's taking a little time for me to get used to them. The straps are not adjustable, unfortunately, so it will take a while for them to stretch to accommodate my high instep. The red color is very nice, really a basic shade that looks good with many things. The very wide, rounded toe area does give them an "earth mother" look, so I will probably keep them mainly for around-the-house use.

I wear these sandels everyday. I have several pairs in different colors. I wish these sandels were still available.

I own two pair of Chacos and love the foot bed. I was hoping to find a dressier version in the Frieda. The shoe has a wide rounded toe area that is unattractive. The red color is a little limiting for wearing with my pastel colored summer clothes.

will take a little while to soften up, but I feel confident in time it will be a very comfortable sandal
