    The strap and toe piece may cause a blister or some minor chafing, but this is true of pretty much all flip-flops. The break-in period for this version took 2-3 days max - the shortest I have ever experienced.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The leather thong component of the sandal (piece that connects the strap in the front to the sandal...and goes between the toes) broke for me on two separate occasions. The first pair broke, I sent them back to Sierra[...]and received a second pair that broke in the exact same manner. These two incidents were through normal use. I would not recommend buying any Chaco sandal with a leather thong -- safer to go another Chaco with a nylon thong.
