My second pair of Hipthongs. I just discovered Chacos two months ago. I LOVE them! The footbed is perfect for my extremely high arches! I can actually walk without limping, they provide so much support for me! My plantar fasciitis is NOT acting up! It took me about a week to break them in, inc...

I have several pairs of Chaco Yampa sandals, which I love. After looking at the reviews, I thought I'd try these, but I don't like the flip-flop feel. Sent them back. Worth more to get the Yampas, which are perfection!

I love these sandals. I've had some issues with plantar fasciitis and these are so good for my feet. The form just perfectly with my arch. And I was so excited when I found one of the colors and size that was the same as my very first pair (that's in shreds now). YAY!

I have troubles wearing flop flips because I often can not keep them on my toes or my toes cramp up trying to keep them on my feet. These sandals have the additional strap that is adjustable to help keep the shoes on my feet. They will be great for Summer and especially when I go and get my pedi's I do wear a 6 1/2 usually and so I ordered up and I got a 7 my heal goes directly to the end - but I am hoping I can get use to the fit - I really love the print and color as well.

I love these shoes, this will be my fourth (?) pair. I pretty much wear them all the time, and the hold up incredibly well. They have a thinner sole and a less extreme arch than other Chaco styles, which really pleases me. The only thing I don't like about them is the elastic webbing material Chaco started using a few years ago for the crossover adjustable strap. I much preferred the normal nylon webbing, it made them much easier to put on (especially when wet).
These sandals have the same foot bed as their typical sandals with good arch support. I have high arches and they do fine. I'm able to walk comfortably all day without issues. They also stay firmly on feet if cinched up properly.

Absolutely! I have high arches and plantar faciitis. I can only wear Birkenstock, Naot, and Dansko. I took a chance and ordered these....they are wonderful! I have now added Chaco to my list of "can haves". Give them a try....I love mine!

Ty - I also have arch issues and actually have to buy superfeet for my running shoes! I used to limp along in Tevas and had to stop wearing them altogether. I've switched to Chacos and love them so much that I'm on my fifth pair! No pain and great tread, making them great for slippery surfaces (like my whitewater boat!). I've hiked in them quite a bit too! The extra straps make them hike-worthy, for sure. Good luck finding sandals you love! -LK

Great question to ask. I have the same problem. I'm not able to wear the flat non support soft rubber flip flops even though I have tried several times. I always go back to my Chaco Hipthong Sport Sandals. They have great arch support and are very comfortable. If you decide to purchase them. Just don't wear them outside of the house until you are sure they have the support you need for your feet. That way you can return them. I hope this information is helpful to you. Have a Great Weekend!!!
