1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor design and functionReviewed by Paddler from Sacramento on Tuesday, July 30, 2019Wore these twice. Laces broke, can't return, completely useless. Slippery on rock. NOT river shoes.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoes, BUT broken laces!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rachel from Michigan on Tuesday, June 25, 2019The body of the shoe is very nice, and seems to be well constructed. However, the laces break rather quickly. First pair my husband used for a week for a canoe trip, and the lace on one shoe broke the next week. Customer service was great and quickly sent a replacement pair. The lace on one of those shoes broke on first use! The lace on the other of that pair broke within a week. Must be bad design on the laces. Customer service again was great and gave us a refund right away.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Everything perfect, except laces.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Stacy from Pittsburgh on Thursday, April 18, 2019I absolutely love these shoes. They do run small!! I haven't come across a Chaco that doesn't. I wear a women's size 8, and a 7 in men sizes always work best for me. Plus, you don't have to wear pink or purple :/ UGH!!!!!!!!!
If you are a women your best bet with all Chacos, especially trail/water shoes, is to go up a whole size up.
The only problem is the shoe lace broke the third time I wore them. You cant replace them either. Each shoe comes with two separate laces that are glued to the front of the shoe, and then they each run up to the to the tightening mechanism. We used an industrial adhesive and so far so good. If it doesn't work however, I will have to return. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. seem brittleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Illinois on Sunday, April 7, 2019I had hoped the shoes would be sturdier, but they are flexible, lightweight, and seem brittle

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great buyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jenny from Texas on Sunday, March 10, 2019My son is loving these shoes and wears them daily to school. They are really water shoes so have space between the straps so you can see socks, but they are nice and light so they are easy to run around in for everyday. Will be perfect for summer.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Very poor quality lacesReviewed by Sabosis from Reno, NV on Tuesday, June 26, 2018I wore these in Hawaii, maybe for 1-2 hours a day over a four day span. The next time I went to wear them, the lace snapped while pulling them tight. Once that happens, the pair is useless and the lace cannot be replaced. Avoid these......

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best option for breathable feetVerified Buyer Reviewed by Manonipe from Illinois on Friday, June 15, 2018My husband bought these as an option, instead of sport sandals. He loves them! They are lightweight, comfortable, and offer good heel support. We walk regularly, no matter the weather, so if it rains, they dry quickly, no need for socks, neither. First pair of shoes he bought online, and actually fitted good. We recommended them- the price was good, too.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy but so/so for gripVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jason from Wisconsin on Monday, June 4, 2018I got these shoes with the intention of wearing them for wet-wading in some rock streams/rivers. The good news is that the shoes are quite comfortable - even going without socks for long hours. The down-sides are that, because they've got openings, they're susceptible to getting sand or small gravel inside of them. Also, the rubber sole isn't so great on slippery rocks. These shoes seem best for something that you might get a bit wet, but intend to use primarily on dry ground. (They worked great for launching/landing a boat, for instance.)
