These Chacos were too large in my usual size, so I returned them for 1/2 size smaller, and now they fit For me, they were comfortable to start with, didn't need breaking in.

Reviewed by Suzy from Upstate ny on Monday, May 27, 2013Loved, However, made for a shorter, wider foot than mine. Wonderful footbed, well made. I am usually 8 1/2 or 9, 39 or 40. This 8 1/2 was too short and much too wide. Have a narrow foot, I guess this brand is just not for me....too bad.

Other reviewers have said that they break in and become very comfortable, my pair are just starting to break in. I have had no problem getting my feet in the shoes as others have. I hike every day and I can tell this will be my go to pair of shoes.

I really enjoy these. :) The solid color canvas will get a bit of shades going from wear, and they are just some of my favorites.
