    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I really wanted to like these shoes, but they were very uncomfortable. I usually wear an 8, but the 7.5 fit. I walked around in them for about half an hour, and my arch was practically throbbing (and I need good arch support). I sent them back and would hesitate to ever buy Chaco brand shoes again after this experience.

    I love the looks and quality of the shoe. The sizing however is a different story. I usually wear a size 9 but the product info instructed to order a half size smaller since the shoes tend to run large. 8/12 was way too large and I returned the shoes to get a size 8. 8 fits the length of my foot but medium width feels more like a narrow. I'm hoping the shoes will stretch a bit because I love eveything else about them.
