Chaco Redrock Mesh Trail Shoes (For Men)

Great shoes, super comfortable and supportive. Needed no breaking in - I could wear them all day right out of the box. They're Chaco's....

I'm getting tired of fussing with shoes to get the proper arch support to protect my feet from foot pain. These were perfect right out of the box. I am a woman with medium-wide feet, so got a pair of men's in addition to women's. Both are good but the men's does have a larger toebox, so will use this pair more in the winter with thicker socks.

Very hard arch support, for those of us that don't have a problem with our arches these shoes hurt. They appear to be very well made and are great looking but walking in them is like walking on golf balls.

The product is very comfortable, I did not find previously described problems regarding the shoe adhering to my foot. The shoe is slightly bulky, but not a problem for the experienced climber.

Good shoe. Comfortable and durable. Nice light hiker but would not use it for long backpacking trips. Much lighter than the chaco sandals.

Pain gone!!! Have been having severe foot pain last month or so (plantar fasciitis?)...wakes me & keeps me up at night....made me walk funny, etc. even my $650 custom made orthotics have not been helping. Tried Chaco due to good rep for arch support...am delighted!! Pain is gone. Just ordered two more pair while available. (so I always have a clean pair to wear to work, 10 hr days on my feet constantly) GREAT price too! If you're concerned about quality support for your feet as well as all day comfort, get these.

I liked the shoes at first. They felt good, and had nice arch support. But the thickness of the sole compared to the lack of support around the ankle just did not work for me. A thick sole works well if you have enough support up above, but these are low tops with a sole thick enough for a full boot. I rolled my ankle the first day I had them and sprained it.

Best for daily use. I don't think good for hike. Sole is poor.

I'm a woman with a "firm understanding" as my grandmother used to put it...I have wide feet. I LOVE my Chaco sandals which have been solely responsible for healing and keeping plantar fascitis @ bay. I was hoping to find a Chaco shoe that would do the same, however, Chaco hasn't figured out to make women's shoes wide the same as they do their sandals thus I decided to try out the men's version hoping for added width. Only complaint is that with extra width in forefoot comes extra width in heel and they tend to slip a bit for me but decided I could live with that since the arch etc. is so good.
