Chaco Switch Flipside Sandals - Thongs (For Women)

These are my 5th pair of Chaco Switches; I wear them all summer in a really hot, humid climate. I bought them for the footbed--no more plantar fascitis! But I wear them for the comfort and really cute style--they look great with a skirt. I wear them to work on Fridays! And the smooth linings don't get ruined when my feet sweat. These flips go on season after season, mile after mile.

I have the WORST feet!!! I've had planter fascitis for about 10 years now and the only cure without any more issues....CHACO!!! I wouldn't be on my feet without them, so much more than worth it! I have more than 5 now, different models and love them all, they even sell their insoles on the website and I buy them for all my shoes, if it's not CHACO it's nothing! They are also back to making their shoes, try them, they're great!!!

I wear heels 5 days a week, 8 hours a day! When I'm not, I like for my feet to be as comfortable as possible. I have very high arches, so even just walking around the mall in regular sandals kills my feet and shin splits. These sandals contour to my high arches and are so comfortable. I feel like I could walk around for hours!! I wear them year round, hot or cold!

I bought these at full price last year because they looked so cute and I *HAD* to have them. I am a true 7, and the 7 in these fit like a glove. But I think for most people they ought to size up because the footbed is quite narrow. I have very narrow feet and they *just* fit. The leather footbed is great for the hottest days of the summer when your feet sweat. They never feel clammy, and unlike the foam type flip flops, my heels never dried out. One thing I didn't like about these and never really "broke in" is the leather part of the strap. During the hot days when your skin/body swells, it sticks to your skin and starts chafing. If the straps were both made of the fabric, it would've been better. Having said that, I lived in these last year. They stood up to daily wear (I even commuted on my bike in them), and I never got shin splints like I do with unsupportive flip flops. Anyways, these are comfy and very supportive!
