5.0 out of 5 stars. My first Chaco'sVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sunriser from Colorado on Tuesday, October 20, 2015I had heard that Chaco's had a ridged foot bed and so it took me a bit to get used to it. I have to say the second day I wore them I was on my feet for 10 hours and my feet felt great at the end of the day. I normally wear a 7.5 but after reading the other reviews I purchased an 8 in the brown color and I am glad I did. I have noticed that the thicker the sock is on the bottom of my feet the more I enjoy wearing this shoe. The insole was made rough or bumpy and so a little extra buffer for me feels better. The tread is meaty enough for scrambling around the mountains and perfect for used trails anything more serious I'd go beefier. I am enjoying this shoe and will be curious to see how well it holds up. I have already noticed a bit of compression and I am a small and light person. I gave it a 5 out of 5 anyway because this could be normal and as I say only time will tell. It hasn't affected the comfort or the performance so far and I do give my shoes a workout.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Cheating on NewBalanceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dana from Arizona on Thursday, September 17, 2015I have been a die hard New Balance lover for years and years but when my puppy destroyed my new NewBalance hikers WW759s I turned to Sierra Trading Post to help me replace them without breaking the bank. Based upon the reviews and availability in my size, I decided to give these trail shoes a shot. Bottom line, they are awesome!! Fit is true to size, I returned the 8s I normally purchase in order to reduce tightness with socks because they were in fact not my size. I usually wear a 7.5, I have a high instep and not a wide foot but not a narrow one either. The 7.5s fit perfectly with socks and the shoes were comfy, supportive and light weight right out of the box. I walk 6+ miles everyday with my furry kids on hilly dirt country roads and these shoes are performing wonderfully.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Terrific shoes and price if you can get the right size...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, September 17, 2015This is an awesome pair of shoes and as usual, SIerra's customer service is the best on the planet. I ordered the tan color first in my regular size (8.5) and they were too large. The 9 wasn't available in the tan so I ordered it in the Fern and used the $2.95 shipping option. They were way too large and so I had to send them back a second time. The representative suggested that perhaps I should try them in the Fern in an 8.5 and offered to waive the shipping since I had to send them back a second time. Victory! They fit true to size and are incredibly comfortable. I have a high arch and a high instep and these shoes fit my foot perfectly. I'm not sure if they are seconds or why the sizing was so different between to the two colors but that's what happened. And there isn't a better price on them anywhere. If you want t comfortable trail, hiking, or everyday wear-with-jeans shoes, give these a try!

3.0 out of 5 stars. I wish I could rate that I loved these...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, September 10, 2015... because the arch and structure is so wonderful, but I started with an 8.5 in the tan color and that was too small. I returned them for a 9 which was only available in the fern color and that was way too big. So I'm guessing that the sizing on these is what makes them such a good price. I am planning on returning the 9 and trying an 8.5 in the fern (maybe it was the tan color that was off?) and hopefully that will be the ticket. Sierra has been wonderful about the returns as usual and has even offered to waive the $2.95 shipping on this next order since I've had to do this so many times. Will update this when the new 8.5 arrives...

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shoes for problem feetVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Wisconsin on Friday, August 14, 2015I have a lot of foot problems and Chacos are the only serious walking shoes that I am able to wear. I am now on my 4th pair and they are the best. They are designed with good arch support and adequate toe room. I love these shoes!

5.0 out of 5 stars. A PlusVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tammy from Montana on Tuesday, July 28, 2015These shoes were exactly what I wanted and they fit great, were comfortable as soon as I put my foot in the shoe. When I hiked my feet did not hurt when I was done, and for me that is a big plus. I would recommend these shoes to others for sure!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Average shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Amy from northeast Iowa on Sunday, June 28, 2015Should start by saying that I don't love wearing what I consider a tennis shoe (which I classify these as). They're intended for a trail/light hiking shoe and probably serve that purpose alright. Purchased these as a closed-toe shoe for work that would have adequate arch support and hold up relatively well. They have a rigid soul that seems like it will hold up well. I generally wear an 8.5 and ordered the 8.5. Relatively narrow footbed in these (I have narrow feet so this is good), but I don't like my toes too snug, and unfortunately my toes come right up to the tip in this shoe. Should have ordered a 9. Perhaps they'll stretch out a bit with more wear.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Walking ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Robbin from Central Florida on Wednesday, June 17, 2015My great niece from Colorado recommended Chaco sandals to me. So when I checked out your website since my husband and I like to walk a lot; I decided to also get a pair of the trail shoes too. We live in Florida so wanted a shoe with ventilation too and these are working out perfectly. I always read reviews before purchasing and most everyone said they had their Chaco shoes for years.
